Aerial Artifacts

I find looking at aerial photography endlessly fascinating. Google Earth and similar mapping services have opened up ways of looking at the world around us that are beyond the imagination of most people who have ever lived on the earth. Mountains, lakes, cities, and fields are easily identifiable, but sometimes you stumble across something that's hard to explain. This section is devoted to examining and explaining these mysterious items. If you have something that you wonder about, let me know and I'll look into it.

Please note: Many, if not most, of these locations are on private or otherwise restricted land. Historicutah.net does not condone trespassing and encourages you to appreciate these sites from the air.
